In accordance with a joint agreement, Action for the Needy in Ethiopia and the Finnish Refugee Council will carry out a one-year Multi-Sector Emergency Support Project with financial support from the Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs Unit for Humanitarian Assistance. Four woredas in the South Wollo zone of the Amhara region—Hayik, Tehuledere, Kutaber, and Worebabu—that have been affected by conflict and natural disaster are the focus of the project. Rapid need assessments were conducted in intervention woredas along with the relevant government sectors , FRC and ANE Team as of April 2022 to start the project's implementation. The project plan was organized well in accordance with the assessment's findings.

Meanwhile, the project lunch was held in Dessie Town on July 5/22 in the presence of the zonal and woreda level signatory sectors, the concordant body, and the country directors of both FRC and ANE.
